Birth doula, Postpartum doula

Covering: Clonmel Co.Tipperary but I cover areas within 45minutes of home so work regularly in Waterford, Kilkenny and East Cork too. 

I am a mammy to four children, including twins. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Studies and have 10 plus years experience of working in Early years education. I also have a diploma in Disability Studies and so have no issues working with families who may have physical or intellectual disabilities. 

Recently I also finished a certificate in postnatal depression awareness which I feel is vital when working with parents of small children. 

I trained as a birth doula in 2018 with DONA International and as a postpartum doula in 2021 with Doulacare Ireland. My own postpartum journeys and my experiences of being a mum to 4 small children is what drove my interest in becoming a Doula. I feel every mum deserves the emotional and physical support I offer.

I love listening to mothers talk about their birth experiences and being there with open ears when emotions need to be let out. I also love allowing parents to take time for themselves such as having a bath/shower, taking time to read a book or watch some TV in peace, or best of all get down for a few hours sleep while I am there to look after baby and also do a few other jobs for you such as meal preparation, laundry, sorting cupboards etc. Due to completing the masterclass in infant feeding with doulacare Ireland I am also happy to provide information on breastfeeding or formula feeding. 

I have worked with babies as young as 10 days old and up to 10 months old.
