I trained with DoulaCare about 3 years ago and also have years of personaI experience as I have 4 daughters, one of whom has Downsyndrome and I have a special interest in babies with additional needs.
I would love to support you on your Journey to parenthood whether you are Parenting alone or with a partner and I can help to enhance your experience by giving you (both) support and encouragement. Together we will explore the path you would like to take to have the best possible experience and also prepare you for any decisions you may need to make along the way with up-to-date accurate information.
I can also help you to prepare for the Postpartum period, for your own recovery and how to navigate bringing baby home as a new parent or to meet siblings. The help of a Doula when you get home can make all the difference, allowing you to concentrate on your recovery and getting to know your newborn and not having to worry about food, shopping & laundry !
