Keara O'Shea

Postpartum doula, infant massage instructor.

Covering Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford

I have been a postpartum doula since 2021 and I qualified as an infant massage instructor with the IAIM in 2022. I love my job so much. To be able to work with the most amazing, resilient, strong and interesting women is such a blessing

Since training and working as a postpartum doula I have found a new zest for life. I have become so passionate about everything, pregnancy, birth and postpartum. It is such an honour to enter into a family’s life at such a precious time to support, nurture and empower them through their new journey. I am a firm believer that the fourth trimester is a time to slow down, recover and be present with your baby. Those first few months go by so quickly and it shouldn’t be spent worrying. I aim to help ease all the worry and anxiety new parents can sometimes carry.

I can help with feeding support both breast and bottle fed (feeding cues, positions, winding techniques), help with siblings, meal preparation and light housework. I can look after the baby while you shower, nap or get out for a walk. I can hold space for you to share your experiences or even just to talk about poo colour/texture ;). I will work with you to figure out how best I can support you.
