Germaine's passion is to support a mother's wellbeing, rite of passage, and bonding with the newborn during this special and fleeting time. 

She has two decades of doula experience spanning several years working abroad in San Francisco and is a long-standing member of the Doula Association of Ireland since 2007. Germaine's gentle nature assists her clients find their voice and advocate for their wishes in a supportive environment. In the early weeks, Germaine assists in the home after birth so a new mother can rest and recuperate and feel confident with new-born care and breastfeeding if desired. 

Germaine is also a mother to one son, volunteers with Cuidiú, teaches group or 1:1 antenatal education including weekly Relax Stretch Breathe for Pregnancy & Baby Massage classes from a wellness center in New Ross and sees clients privately for pregnancy and Ayurvedic massage therapy. Germaine is fully insured, garda-vetted, certified in Pediatric First Aid.
