My name is Ellen. I'm based in Cork and I'm a mother of 2. My passion for birth work and doula work was ignited by the birth of my children.

I trained as an antenatal Educator back in 2020 and then went on to train as a birth doula with doulacare in 2021 and again as a postpartum doula in 2022.

I cover Cork within an hour of my home which covers a vast area of Cork. This includes east cork, north cork and cork city.

I provide support to women and birthing people and families of all different shapes and sizes. I am passionate about looking after mothers and parents after the birth of their baby/babies and providing physical, emotional and informational support to those families. The time after welcoming a new baby into the world is such a vulnerable time and it's a time when the mother/parent needs to be held and cared for as they care for their new baby/babies and get used to this new normal. Parenthood is a beautiful journey but comes with its challenges and as a postpartum doula I can help ease some of those challenges.
