I have been a postpartum doula since late 2021 under the name of DoulAnna. My journey started on a course with DoulaCare Ireland where they proudly offered me to work as an Independent Contractor for them.
I have a Master Degree in child Psychology gained in Italy but am also a member of the Irish Psychological Society. My educational background and personal interests have always centered around working with children and families.
I am particularly enthusiastic about helping new mothers navigate their transition into motherhood. I understand firsthand the challenges that come with welcoming a new baby, especially in the absence of nearby family support. My goal is to assist these families in adjusting to their new dynamics, supporting older siblings in the process, and providing encouragement and confidence to the parents.
Whether it’s helping with daily household routines, offering a moment of respite by drawing a relaxing bath, or simply being a compassionate listener, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive support to families during this special and sometimes overwhelming time.
Through my personal journey as a new mother in a foreign country, I have gained invaluable insights into the emotional and practical needs of new parents. I am committed to being a dependable presence, a shoulder to cry on, and a source of reassurance for families as they embark on this new chapter of their lives.
